Kata Hiza Te O Uchi Gake Ashi Dori

Kata-hiza-te-ouchi-gake-ashi-dori - Single Knee Hand Major Inner Hook Leg Grab

Kata-hiza-te-ouchi-gake-ashi-dori is one of the longest named techniques in the new kokusai-shiai-waza. The length of the name should not worry you though - the technique is quite simple and yet effective.

In the version displayed in the video, you can see that the tori drops on to one knee, hooking/wrapping around the inside opposite leg. The tsuri-te drops to the uke's leg and holds into place and lifts if possible, whilst the kneeling leg of the tori sweeps round.
