Renzoku Waza Ippon-seoi-nage into Kata-guruma In this combination it would be very difficult to practice a standing Kata-guruma. Therefore the technique performed in the video would be classified as Kata-hiza-kata-guruma (which would be even more confusing if it was in a Kata, I suppose!). Tori attacks with the Ippon-seoi-nage. After failing with this the hand that would be the 'Ippon' grabs hold of the sode, whilst the original hikite swings round between the legs of the uke. A choice of knees dropping depends on the tori's preference and the opponent. The grip on the sode then wheels to the ground as the other hand lifts at the shoulders to wheel the partner over. |
